Shane Drake has directed videos for some of music’s brightest stars. In his time with Taillight he has already won two Video of the Year awards from the Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association for Tim McGraw & Little Big Town, respectively. His work spans the genres of pop, rock, rap and country, and Shane has been at the helm of videos for such artists as Timbaland, Paramore, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, Flo Rida, Motley Crue, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and many more. 

 

Through his history with multi-platinum artists, Drake can be credited for helping shape the original visual styles for many popular bands. One of the more noteworthy instances is Panic! At The Disco’s, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.”  The video won Video of the Year at the 2006 MTV VMAs.

More recently, Drake has continued his pursuit of excellence in the world of music videos and films, winning the category: Female Video of The Year, at the 2019 CMT’s for Carrie Underwood’s “Love Wins” video as well as finishing his feature film debut, Rising Star.
